BRAIN VS MEMORY

What is the meaning of brain?
- Brain is an organ of soft tissue contained in the skull of vertebrates. It is functiong as primary receiver, organizer and distributor of information for the body. It has a right half side and a left half side of each is called hemisphere. Each side of brains have their own functions.

What is the functions of the left side brain and right side brain?
















Brain has three main parts:
  • Cerebrum
  • Cerebellum
  • The brain stem


What is the meaning of memory?
- The store of things learned or retained from the past. It is the power of recalling any situations that already happened or any informations that someone's remembers.

Three main types of memory:
  • Sensory memory (the shortest-term element of memory)
  • Short-term memory (the capacity for holding but not manipulating and available state for a short period of time)
  • Long-term memory (the lasting storage of information for an extended period of time)



We always forget things, how to prevent it?
  1. Sleep well.
  2. Eat a healthy diet.
  3. Do not eat junk food too often.
  4. Keep learning about things you want to know, always repeat it until you understand.
  5. Write notes.
  6. Make a group discussion.
  7. Always share your knowledge with your friends.


What is the meaning of concentration?
-Concentration is the action or power of focusing all one's attention.



How to stay focus?
  • Remove your distractions.
  • Focus on the present.
  • Talk to your teacher about classes.
  • Create your own motivation.
What are the causes of poor concentration?

➜ Lack of attention.
➜ Lack of  interest.
➜ Lack of motivation.
➜ Internal distractions (things that student think or worry about).
External distractions (an uncomfortable study area, noise).
➜ Anxiety.
➜ Stress.
